These wheels fit the 2006 - 2020 Suzuki M109R (VZR1800) models. The stock OEM wheel sizes are, front 18" diameter x 3.5" wide, and the rear is 18" diameter x 8.5" wide. Please note, there are two different wheel designs that have come on the M109R. Your stock OEM wheel will either have a five or a six spoke pattern. Suzuki builds the five spoke wheels to such low standards, that these wheels do not pass our quality control programs. The flaws that are present before and after the chrome plating is complete, is not due to our poor methods. We use only the highest quality materials and craftmanship possible. However, there is only so much poor casting that we can attempt to cover. When ordering, please specify the spoke pattern on your wheels.
The Suzuki M109R wheels are some of the most difficult parts to chrome plate, due to the VERY poor casting methods used by Suzuki to manufacture these wheels. The cast used to make these wheels produces a heavy pitting problem on the surface of the wheel. This heavy pitting on the surface of the wheel is concealed by Suzuki by applying a very thick silver or black colored powder coat paint on the surface of the wheels. This heavy pitting is only noticeable when this powder coat is stripped off the wheel when we begin the chrome process. All M109R wheels have this sever pitting problem. However, there are no two wheels exactly alike. Some wheels are better and some wheels are worse, but all the M109R wheels do have these casting flaws. To alleviate these flaws as much as possible, the wheels are left in our copper tank for extended periods of time and the copper will act as a "filler" and smooth out the surface of the wheels. We do like to be as honest with our customers as possible, so due to this unpredictability in Suzuki's manufacturing method, we tell our customers, that there is no such thing as a perfectly chromed cast part. However, due to our years of experience, we have perfected the chrome process of the M109R wheels to the point that these minor imperfections are usually not noticeable unless viewing the wheel within a very close distance to your face.
